If bed bugs are present in your home, you'll need to do very minimal prep work before we provide treatment. We will need you to remove all clothing on floor sand/or hanging on furniture, remove all sheets, blankets, mattress covers, pillowcases, etc. and run them through a high heat cycle in the dryer for at least 40 minutes. Also, any items on the floor will need to be bagged up. Do not place items back until after treatment. It is not necessary to remove any clothes or items from shelves, drawers, or cupboards unless these items are visibly infested. We use a liquid residual treatment on baseboards, beds, furniture, and wherever we find signs of bed bugs. We also use this same residual treatment around all outlets which helps prevent bed bugs from traveling from room to room.
A second treatment is necessary to eliminate your bed bug infestation. This service takes place one week after the initial treatment and additional fees apply. However, if more follow-up visits are needed, we will keep working until your bed bug infestation is gone.
